Need these for customising weapons, please help...

I need some Dark Matters for Ribbon (don't know how much are needed, but I only have six I think), and Wings to Discovery for Break HP Limit. I got 25 of those. Aren't there any places with fiends to drop/steal them?

but for wings of discovery you have to bribe them from the thing that does bad breath (forgot name sorry) i think you can bribe 8 at a time and you have to bribe for 112k or close to that either that or 1.12m

Isn't it in the Calm Lands and in the Omega Ruins? The thing that does bad breath that is.

For Break HP you need 30 Wings Of Discovery to get them you need to bribe a Great Malboro which is in Sin and Omega Ruins you need 1600000 gil or a Malboro which is in the Calm Lands and the Sunken Cave you need 675000 gil or if you fight Shinryu in the monster arena he will drop one after you defeat him

For Ribbon you need 99 Dark Matters to get them you need to bribe a Land Worm which can be found in Sin and you need 2000000 gil.

u need 99 dark matters. the easiest way is getting auron on 1 hp with celestial weapon with about 150 strength and just fighting the mushroom from the species section in the arena.

another way 2 get 99 dark matters is to unlock ultima buster 5 monsters from evrywhere

50 wings to dscovery to get break hp limit. bribe malbora for them or just fight shinryu in original section in arena.

you can get 30 wings 2 discovery bythe chocobo race in remeim temple again 1 time only

I really dont see why anyone needs break hp limit or ribbon(which i have no idea what that does) i finished the game with yunas hp 4300 aurons 3200 wakkas 3500 and everyone elses was below 3000 (but my tidus had specially customised armor with hp +30% +20% +10% and +5%
ah well but my aeons almost always hit 9999 (except bahamut and anima bahamut 27800 anima 999999

same here. how ever, if the person is going after all of the dark aeons that yes it will help, espescially with tidus's last weapon since it has the ability to "evade and counter" which only works if you have hp left. but i still find it easier to have auto-pheonix equiped to everyones shield and 100 pheonix downs.

any way seriously what does "ribbon" do?

It protects you from status ailments like poison etc.
