Rusty sword

I'm kind of confused. What do you do with the rusty sword you get at the trail near Yojimbo. I've went almost everywhere and couldn't find anything.

You know, I would like to know the same thing. Isn't it a key item?

Yeah, it shows it as a key item, but I can't find anything to do with it.

the rusty sword is a key to a statue that gives you Auron's ultimate sword.

I have never gotten it! I can't! I find one doohikky and that is it! I find the one that is after the first time you go to Rin's shop I think.

after the mehin road.you enter this cliff like land. where Sin attack the beach. well in the first road look around the wall on your left. you'll find a platform that takes you up to the second level. you'll see the statue. go up to it and talk to it. the rusty sword will be placed and a chest will appear. that will give you Auron's ultimate weapon.

Yes but you have to have both of the sigils or whatever they are. I only have one.

norbie007 to find the Mars Crest, go to the northern most part of the Mi'ihen highroad (just before the mushroom rock road), and take the south-east exit. the Crest is in a chest at the end of that path

to get the Mars Sigil, you need to capture all the creatures in 10 different areas

Yup, you gotta do what you gotta do... it's pretty easy, really, you just need to have a bit of patience. A good way to get this is to try the 'get 99 potions' cheat early on in the game. Now THAT needs patience. lol

lol yep i'v with you there but i'm patience if i can't do it one way i'll do it another way and not move on till i'v done it...

I like to think I'm fairly patient, particularly when it comes to video games.

I'm not really that patient but when it's inevidable I just am. But capturing all creatures in ten areas isn't really that difficult, nor would it take very long at least it didn't for me.

No, it doesn't sound like the kind of thing that would take too much patience, as long as you get Auron, Tidus and Wakka capture weapons, it's should be pretty easy... of course, that's expensive, but once you have that, I wouldn't have thought it would take that long. Of course, I haven't actually tried it yet...

Yeah I had Auron, Tidus and LuLu's I think.

Oh, does the capture ability also extend to spells then?
