Blitzball

I have over 200 wins. Tidus has Jecht Shot 1 and 2(yes there are two) You have to have Tidus learn all his Key techniques first, then play in tournaments until the Jecht Shot 2 appears. It takes time. The good thing is it gets rid of 3, not 2, defenders and makes your shot invisible. Oh, and it increases your shot by a lot. The most points I scored in a game is 16. Can't do it again

I only played a couple and the story line one. I'm not to good at it, I stink at it,lol. Oh well I still think it's fun to play.

Yeah i think its really difficult to play, even with all the tips i have been given here. Its a pain too because you need to win games. Not sure if its for an ultimate weapon or limit break though. So get practising

I absolutely love BlitzBall. I'm totally addicted. I say if I hadn't spent time playing BB, I would have beaten the game about 2 weeks earlier than I did. Whenever I restart it, I ALWAYS spent a lot of time on BB. Its Great

Heh, this topic just been bumped on the same day I feel like bragging. How convenient

I'm no good at Blitzball, but I still managed to win my first ever tournament during my restart save. I don't know if the prizes for this are random, but even if they aren't, I'm very impressed with myself that I won Attack Reels on my first go My last save I was stuck with Elemental Reels the whole way through as I rarely played.

I recruited one heck of a tank for my mid fielder, he's a godsend. Of course he's about 10 levels higher than everyone else at the mo, cos of it. Anyway enough about me, craigster.. holymoly :O How did you get Nimrook, he's so good.. I got Miyu as my goalie, she's pretty good but Nimrook I had to get Tidus to use Sphere Shot everytime I tried to score, cos his Catch stat was way higher than any of my Shoot stats :O (I still beat him 2-0 tho hehehe).

Bumping this thread is ok since the FFX forum isn't very active.

Man it's took me a while, but I'm only 9 games away from Wakka's Sigil. I much prefer this game now as I didn't know what I was doing before, now I do.

Lets see, my team is.. and I alternate depending on whoever I'm up against.
Tidus Level 26 (Shooter)
Brother Level 24 (Shooter/Defence*)
Wedge Level 21 (Shooter/Defence*)
Naida Level 19/20 (Mid field)
Ropp Level 37 (Defence*)
Lakkam Level 14 (Defence)
Miyu Level 21 (Goalie)

If I'm up against the Killika's, Ronso (tho their goalie is the guy I dumped for Miyu, luckily I didn't use him much), Guado's.. easier teams, I keep Ropp out, and train up my lower level defender. Brother hangs around in defence so he doesn't hog exp, but still can stop anybody shooting. Wedge goes with Tidus, they tend to take turns scoring goals, I want Wedge levelled up.. his pass stat sucks.. he will stay in defence once Brother's Shoot overtakes.

Al Behd and Luca's I'll put in Ropp to go with Lakkam defence wise, but put Brother in with Tidus to score.. mainly cos he's fast and has quite even stats - tho at the mo is shoot is lower than Wedge. Naida rocks in mid field no matter what Miyu IMO is far better than Nimrook, who I've had no trouble scoring against. Wedge in his earlier levels maybe, but thats it. Nimrook is currently a free agent yet Botta has just been signed up lmao, it's odd no one's hired him. (where is he, curious sake)

9 more wins, sigil is mine yey. Now for sigil's all I need to do is that Chocobo race.. I hate it, if I don't get it tonight I'm getting my friend to get it again, like he did on my other save ^_^

Easy tip for training, when you ge the ball, head back to your goal, all the way, until the opposing team swims up, but then retreats, then pass between your defence players (the back 2) and they get EXP for passing :D

Thanks, but I already do something like that already. I spent one half of a second round passing between the midfield and defenders, breaking the ones who attacked me. Unstoppable hehe. I've gotten Tidus and Wedge levelled up by constantly scoring goals, my last match was 7-0 to the Al Behd's ^_^ That'll teach them for firing Nimrook for some guy with a catch of 9. I'm not kidding, they did that while the Ronso's hired a guy with 23. :/

Yeah, I love the AI being an idiot xD
