My finishing time for the main storyline was ~26 hours, currently at 54 hours, defeated all marks up to Behemoth King, and all espers except for Ultima and the big Z.

its hardly difficult, i spent about 5 hours in Pharos, but everything else was a breeze..

i've got the guide, didn't use it at all for the walkthrough, used it purely for the Inventory section.
The only part of the game that can even pretend to be difficult for anyone is up to obtaining the dawn shard, after that, Zodiac Spear
