-aga/-aja magicks

when do they become available? Like curaja, firaga, thundaga, etc.

in balfeom(spelling) port,although some aga spells are also avaible in archades

Cool, I'm almost to archades.

The only aja spell you can get is Curaja. The other ones are exclusive to summons.

I always thought the when your doing a quickening an you do inferno or any other bonus attack I figuere they can't as the -aja lvl spells

Some of them look kind of similar but they are differant attacks it would have be cool if they allowed you to get the aja magicks that the Espers use though.

No those are just area attacks guy in oakland, nowhere close to the equivalent of aja spells.

No I think some aga spells are better than their area attack counter parts.

I gues,but I was upset when I found out that their aren't any black -aja spells

Zodiark can use Darkja.

Yeah but its too bad the characters can't use them though. The developers used a lot of new stuff for this game it would have also been good if they allowed the characters to use more powerful versions of the spells than just aga instead of only allowing Espers to use them.

When you play through the first time and see the Espers using them you think that you can get them and its a little disapointing that you can't.

Yea, but the concurrences that you trigger during quickenings have no elemental association, even though their names make them seem like it. They simply cause physical damage, making them nothing like the -aja spells. I wish they would allow you to use the -aja spells, when the espers use them, the animations are stunning

one mistake they did make was leaving water spells at lvl 1 only

Yeah I was wondering why they did that too.

andit wasn't like we didn't need the water element it actuallywould have been the most useful

Yeah definately would have come in handy against the Storm elemental and Ixion.

not really ixion since theres a way to cut his hp in half so versing him would be easy with or without it

I never knew you could cut his hp in half how do you do it? I just meant it in the sense that he is weak against it if you did want to use it.
