Is there any point to the pebbles?

How can I use an item on an enemy with the nihopalaoa?

There isn't really any point to pebbles.

Equip the accessory and then select a remedy then select the enemy you are fighting as the target doing this puts all status effects that the enemy is not immune to on the enemy.

That's cool...I never knew that.

It won't let me select the enemy as a target unless I am using an attack or an attacking magick.

You should be allowed to use the item on the enemy when the cursor appears to choose a character after you have selected a remedy select the enemy.

Hmmm. That's what I tried, and it would only let me select my allies.

Thats what the nihopalaoa is for it reverses the effects of restorative items and it comes in handy in difficult fights because it will do what I mentioned in a previous post and I know you can definately select the enemy I don't know why you can't.

I know that, but mine is just messed up I guess. =(

Another question: All I am getting from the chests in the nabreus deadlands is knots of rust. That is so annoying, cuz they suck. Is there anyway I can get better stuff? I already have the diamond armlet equipped.

Yeah I got a lot of knots of rust there too if you already have the diamond armlet equiped there is nothing else you can do. There is only a small chance you will get better items with the armlet equiped.

To choose an enemy you press either the L2 or R2 button, I forget which one it is.

when you have that epuipped on youtheres a 90% chance you will get knot of rust.That explains why you are getting it so much

I usually ended up getting them anyway even when I didn't have the armlet equiped. Its ironic that you have such a high chance that you will get a knot of rust since the diamond armlet is supposed to increase your chances of getting better items.

it does the armlet equipped gives you different items,but without it you get average items

Yeah even with it you still only have a small chance of getting better items. Its only really useful for when you know that a chest in a certain place has a really rare item and you have to keep trying until you get it. If you only used it on the regular chests like the ones in Nabudis you might only get a high potion or x potion instead of knots of rust.

Considering R2 flees, I think it's L2. I'm gonna go try that out, thanks.

Edit: You press L1 to switch between targeting enemies and allies.

If you open the chests that your not supposed to open to get the Zodiac Spear, will there not be any of the 16 chests in the Cloister of Highborne?

The chests will still be there you just won't get the Zodiac Spear from any of them.
