My question thread

There aren't any chests on mine. Are they in a secret room or something?

The Zodiac Spear is located in the cloister of highborn just like you said. I'm sure the treasures will still be there because I opened some of the treasures that you are not supposed to and all the chests in the room where you get the Zodiac Spear were there. Did you open any of the chests you weren't suppossed to?

Haha, I opened all of the chests I wasn't supposed to. I didn't know about the Zodiac Spear until pretty late in the game, cuz I hadn't looked at any walkthroughs until then.

There's another chest somewhere in the game (I forget where) and there's a 1/356 change (or something like that) of getting the Zodiac Spear if you have a Diamond Armlet.

Yeah your right there is another chest in the game where you can get it I think it is in the phase 2 dig in the secret area of the Henne Mines. There are hidden paths there that are not on the map the chest is in one of those. Its very rare though and you will have to try over and over to get it and since there is no save point close to it you have to spend a lot of time getting back to the chest and also the enemies down there are really really strong so make sure you are on a high lvl with good equipment. Zodiark is also down there if you want to get him.

I also heard that if you give all 30 trophy's to the weapon bangaa in the Phon Coast that you can by the Zodiac Spear from the hunt club merchant next to the 3 bangaa I never tried it so I really don't know if its true.

Cool. Is there anyway to get more than one of the other great weapons? (Tournesol, Masamune, Excalibur)

And I just went ahead and finished the story yesterday. Did Balthier and Fran get married? Is that what that ring was for? And I hate that you can't play after you beat Vayne/Undying.

There is only 1 Tournesol and only 1 way to get it and that is through the bazaar, there is more than 1 Masamune this can be obtained 3 ways you get it as a reward for beating Gilgamesh, you can get items needed for it in the bazaar and I'm almost positive that if you give a lot of trophys to the bangaa for weapons in the Phon Coast you can get it from the hunt club shop and there is only 1 Excalibur and can only be obtained from the Great Crystal.

Congratulations on beating the game. No Fran and Balthier did not get married if you remember after you get back to Rabanstre when your finished at Raithwalls Tomb they meet in the Muthru Bazaar to dicuss what to do next and Balthier wanted Ashe's ring for agreeing to help until he found somthing better he was just giving it back at the end.

Oh yeah, i remember.

I already got the excalibur. I didn't know you could get the masamune through the bazaar, pretty cool. The tournesol takes FOREVER!! I don't have any of the items to get the items that I have to get to sell to get the tournesol.

Yeah it takes a while to get the Tournesol and a lot of gil.

What stats go up when you level up?

And what does vitality do?

I'm pretty sure all stats go up, and I'm not sure what vitality does.

When you lvl up all your stats increase. Hp and Mp increase every lvl that you gain but the other stats only increase usually every 3 lvl's and only by one because the equipment you use also increases these stats depending on what you use.

Vitality is your defense against status effects the higher your vitality the lower the chance you will get hit with status effects.

Ok that makes sense.

Ok, thanks. I was thinking things like attack and defense only went up with equipment.

Strength, magick power, vitality, and speed are the only things that go up.

Thats pretty much all of them you just use equipment for defence and magic defense.
