Yiazmat and Hellwyrm

About how long will these battles take? It seems like they would take hours.

Well Hellwyrm would take around 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on how strong your party is and what equipment you are using.

But Yiazmat can take hours since he has 50' 000 000 hp again it depends on how strong you are and the equipment you are using.

just take down one bar for the hell wyrm each day and you should have no problem

as for Yiazmet I really don't know since I didn't vs him yet

Hmm!?! I thought you had to fight the Hell Wyrm all the way through in one go.

na I found that out once I got half way done...

Yiazmat took my dad upwards from a week, and he played about 3-4 hours a week. It depends on your party/how long you play.

Haha, my dad can't stand videogames, and he hates it that I play them so much.

Beating Hellwyrm took me about an hour id say, and yiazmat took me probably upwards of 6 hours, and that was with a full lv. 99 team. Just use decoy on your strongest fighter, and reverse, and you will take them down eventually. Thats really the only way to beat them without giving yourself insane amounts of trouble.

Yeah reverse is the main thing. I have seen a very good strategy similar to the one you mentioned where 2 character were equiped with really powerful greatswords like the Tournesol or they were equiped with the Masamune or Yagyu Darkblades since he is weak against dark magic. The 2 characters were put at critical hp 1 also had genji gloves and they were hasted and had beserk so they would get maximum consecutive hits. Then to draw attention away from them the 3rd character had constant decoy and all protective buffs especially reverse and reverse was renewed constantly so the other 2 characters were never attacked and were doing major damage on Yiazmat.

That's an awesome strategy.

I thought so too when I saw it. Yiazmat was beaten in just over 1 hour with this strategy.

lol, still this strategy is practically perfect if you do it right. There is another way of beating Yiazmat I have seen although its more like cheating if you lure him to the stairs you can attack him from the stairs and he can't reach you to hit you so he just keeps using death strike and him ultimate attack but usually only one character will die and you can just cast reflect on all charcters and keep spamming darkga or using bows with dark arrows. It would take a long time though.

It would, but it would be less frustrating lol.

Yeah I never beat Yiazmat either I just saw this strategy being used against him.

Not a lot of people have beat yiazmat, or have the patience to.

He is definately one of the strongest bosses in the Final Fantasy series imagine if they made him the final boss in XII.

That would just suck. If they had him in any other game it would be impossible considering the 50,000,000 HP, and not being able to switch your party if they die.

Yeah but Vayne wasn't really that challenging as a final boss though.
