I'd give it 80 out of a 100 mainly because of the gambits and also because the story wasn't that great either.

Id give it about the same as GP but not due to the Gambits. I would have liked to have seen some more development in character relations..if you get my drift?!?!

Yeah the other thread was getting very long and drawn out.
I would have also liked if the usual limitations for HP and MP were raised which I'd like to see in all FF's now.

Yeah I agree with you there. 9999 is very low for HP and MP. And again you cant even get there without help of bubble.

Even though, my score wouldn't be inferior to 94, but then again, I've never played any other FF for PS2.

I would give it a score of 85 just because I really liked what they did with the gameplay and the game itself can take as long as 100+ hours ot beat

Yeah but during the battles you're shown other moves only to find out that when you get the espers they can't use them.

I never really used the Espers. Not only they can't last for long, but when you finally get the strongest of them, your weapons can do more damage.

It's a good game but it's for the PS2 and I've got the PS3 now and I know there's backwards compatibility but I still don't plan on playing PS2 games on it.
