Why are people so concerned about the graphics. I'd be happy no matter what, as long as the gameplay and the story is as good as I've come to expect from FF.

The graphics have to be good. Not because its on the ps3, but because FF has weird creatures and things that need to be seen in high deetailed graphics.

I agree with CIG but my point was that FF has the most beautifull cut-scenes and in FFXIII they are basically like FFXII.

The CGI scenes in FFXII were breathtaking. Especially the scenes of big cities, and ships and stuff like that. I am positive that they have improved the graphics.

well they do improve as the games go on as you can see from the games so I have no worry that this game will be better then the last.

Yes, loads of time. It will get better. I am worried about the battling system though. Everyone is expecting it to be so awesome and it might not live up to expectations.

Well, I'm going to try to bring a little life back to this forum.
The graphics for FFXIII were displayed at E3, and even for pre-rendered scenes, they were almost jaw-dropping. I think that the in-game graphics will be great as well, and the use of the XBox 360 and PS3 processors will be used greatly.

usually all FF's have awesome graphics as of late.i'm expecting them to make the storyline 30-35 hours long

IM no fanboy (checks anatomy) nope not a fan boy. I just think those stories were more complete. Oh and X too, that i loved. FFXII was epic due to all the hunts etc. But in story it wasnt as huge. Dont get me wrong i still say its one of my favourites, its just not my only favourite now.
