Final Fantasy XIII is now available for pre-order from play.com and is due for release on the 27th of March next year.

No both games are being released in 2009. I'm pretty sure about FFXIII being released in march and FF Versus XIII will probably be sometime in Q4 of 2009.

The Fabula Nova Crystalis project will consist of 3 games. The 2 main games for PS3 and Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. New trailers for both games here.

If you look at the end of the new trailer for FF XIII it states that it's "coming 2009", and like I've said there is still no info on the release for Versus XIII and it doesn't specify a year for it's release in the new trailer for it so I'm just guessing that it will also be next year sometime. Also here is a link to play.com where I mentioned that FF XIII is available to pre-order now, the pre-order chart is on the right.
