Which is your favourite and your strongest character. My strongest would be batre, my favourite character is either legault or jaffar.

My favorite characters are Karel and Serra. Karel is just awesome and Serra is so conceited that she is too funny. My strongest is without a doubt Hector. When you max him out, then upgrade him and then max him out again he is practically unstoppable!

My favorite character is got to be either Eliwood, or Athos. Eliwood is cool on a horse, and even though Archsage Athos is old, he is very powerfull! CALL OUT S-RANK IN ALL MAGIC!

To gamer6592 - I know that Marcuss starts off really strong and everything but he really turns out to be one of the weakest characters in the whole game! When you let the others go after the enemies that you normally let Marcus take care of and let them power up the leave Marcus in the dust! It took me a while playing the game before I figured that out so I thought I wouldd let you know in case you didn't. Hector, Farina, Fiora, Qswin, Serra, Nino, and Canas are all serious fighters! Give them a try.

Jaffar is pretty good but I've had better luck with Legault. Once I max him out as a thief and then upgrade him he has far surpassed Jaffar as an assassain. The only thiing is that I rarely use a thief/assassian towards the end of the game so I never really bother using ANY ao my thieves.

Huh? I wonder why? My Hector rocks! Did you give him any of the bonuses like a dragonshield, or a luck charm or any of that? I gave some stuff to my Hector. Maybe that's why he does rock? You know, if you or anyone else is really into sites that talk about FE, you should check out www.gametalk.com. There is a forum for FE and a lot of people who know that game really well and like to talk about it. You might like it.

But no I didn't give crap to my Hector. He is very weak so I either take him out of the entire battle or I let him stay with Merlinus to protect him. I just don't want to risk getting a game over because he died. When enemies are using long range attacks it usually only takes 1 or 2 hits just to kill him. But I will look for some stuff to power him up.
Oh yeah and you know how Lyn can become a blade lord? Well can Hector or Eliwood become anything besides lords?

Lyn needs a Heaven Seal, given by Pent, and Hecter, once agian given by Pent. Athos will evolve Eliwood.

Athos is the Arch Sage that you meet when you are in the chapter Living Legend. He meets up with you again in the Cog of Destiny chapter and makes whomever's story you're playing (either Hector or Eliwood) into either a Axe Lord for Hector (I think) and a Great Lord for Eliwood. I still don't get it about your Hector. Even before I give mine some stuff to boost him up he is really strong for me. I've never had trouble with him. Now Eliwood, he gives me problems! I thought that if one of the lords die yo umerely restart that chapter not the whole 2nd story your playing. At least that's how I remember it. But trust me, let your Hector play! It's worth it in the end!

My Eliwood sucks just as bad and that's why I don't take him with me to battle people because he dies too easily and I just get a game over.

He is a archsage that you get at the last battle he masterd all magic spells so he can use anything.
