How To Defeat General Raam
In order to defeat Raam, you need to have grenades and a sniper rifle which is supplied in the center of the room before entering the boss arena. After entering the arena, stay behind the wall you ended the cut scene with. This is important because you need to maintain your distance from Raam. Also, it helps to command Don to "cease fire." This will make him run back towards you keeping him alive longer to distract Raam. The trick is to get Raam's swarm away from his body. In order to do this, you need to throw a grenade at Raam. If successful, the swarm will disperse giving you clear head shots using the sniper rifle. Repeat until hes defeated. If you don't defeat Raam by the time he reaches your wall cover, move in the opposite direction he does and shoot when the swarm disperses. You will take damage from Raams machine gun, but you stay in the light which prevents the swarm from killing you. « Last edited by aj2cool4u on May 11th 2007 » Aj 4Lyfe

i use the torch bow and the long bow, torch bow gets rid of the krill and then head shot with sniper

Raam is esy IMO. I think the Theron Guards are harder than him. I just blasted him nine times with my Torque Bow and used like 110 bullets from my Lancer. Dom didn't even help with the shooting as the Kryl killed him before he even shot.

I used the Torque Bow and the Lance. Just fired the Torque, then pelted him. Well, it worked on Casual at least. I'm just going through Hardcore now. |

Worked on Hardcore too...although I had a friend on co-op using a Longshot at the same time. But it would have went the same way.

You can just keep shooting RAAM with torque bow arrows until he dies(providing you have 12)this works for casual and hardcore but for insane i don't know yet. but on youtube there is a video of one guy running up to RAAM and frag tagging him 4 times and RAAM actually dies.
However my favorite is just Torque Bow and Longshot although if you can get a clip of Lancer Ammo into RAAM's head that also will suffice because you have a bit of leighway if you miss a shot with the Longshot. Also if you try to get to that mounted Chaingun you become a tasty snack for the Kryll in the sky, would be a bit too easy if you got the Kryll swarm off RAAM and just opened up onto him though « Last edited by Darktrooper166 on Jun 8th 2007 » |

General Raam is the easies lvl in the gam cant believe u have trouble with him
 well anyways all i did was pick up torgue and if u stick him with that 12 times u will kill him 12 or something and that was preety easy  Just go to my Bio To get up-to-date details on me. |

the way i kill raam is if its by myself not splitscreen or xbox live i just use the torque bow to get the kril off of him then use the lancer its really good agianst him but if u are having trouble on insane. you should get a friend to splitscreen or xbox live cuase its almost impossible to kill him by urself. have one person use the torque bow and lancer and the other use the sniper u should drop him in like a min lol his easy with 2 people

torque bow and sniper are the eaisiest and quickest ways to beat him. This is what i did: Shoot him with the torque bow until i ran outta ammo(which weekens him out quite a bit) and then i got 2 or 3 headshots and boom hes dead.
