So i'm doing the nurburgring 24 hour endurance race. I tried putting the mode in 3X but then everytime it goes in pit it turns it off. How can i keep it on?

you can not keep it travelling at 3x the speed during the pits

thats right it takes about 8 hours on 3x mode

I think you can get the 3x going faster if once you have made it 3x remain holding the L1 button

it dose work like that but i'm not going to hold down the L1 button for over 8 hours.
