do u have to finish the game to unlock the tommy gun?? plz dont say use the cheat cuz it dont work for me.....oops this is for the pc the tommy gun cheat dont work for the xbox..........if anybody has an xbox and GTA III and u unlocked the tommy gun plz tell me how do I unlock the tommy gun????

didn't know you can get a tommy gun in PC 
. i've finished the game (not every mission, just finished the catalina mission) and haven't got anything extra. do i have to finish every mission?

I dont think you are able to get it for the PC version. But I could be wrong as it is a long time since I played this.
