Yeah, I sort of agree with you there. In games like GTA3 & Vice City it was easy to beat somebody up but GTA4 is pretty hard to beat someone up.

thats the real part of the punching system. in SA u could use those fighting styles that would kill some1 in bout 2-3 hits and was very boring 2 beat ppl up. i also like when u shoot some1 in the arm they hold there arm or same with the leg.

The ability to do a full backflip on a bike was good, because in all previous GTA games you went to the side. Its a shame you can't use that though, because you smash into the stairs and falloff if you try to use them as a ramp.

yea i hate the scared ppl's AI they always run some random direction or drive in2 a wall or something so basically scared ppl r fodder

Its better in the sense that it takes longer to kill someone, but apart from that its pretty unrealistic.
