all you have to do to aquire teritorry is go to the purple or yellow parts of the map kill three or four ballas or vatos and it will say u have started a gang war when this happens stay in the blinking area until you kill all the enemy gang members that come for u and thats it

Not sure how many territories there are but you can view the map and if any of the colors are not green then you have more to take over.
