I find it funny how
GTA gaes are rated as 18 (or M in america) yet most
GTA gamers are under the age you are supposed to be.

So, I was wondering how old you guys were when you started getting GTA games?

I think I got
GTA 3 when I was 10, but Im not sure

Same here :D

I've had every GTA game exept vice city, and london 1969.
I'm getting my mum to go into town early on the 29th april to get GTA IV for me XD

Proves and will prove more that most parents are irresponsible and not the gaming industry is at fault for any wrong behaviour caused by games, but the kids and definitely the parents are themselves.

As for myself, I can't remember exactly, but I was somewhere around 18 when I first played GTA on PSX (the very first GTA game)

It actually isn't the parents fault, its the consumers fault.

I've been playing grand theft auto games for at least 5 years. I wont be able to purchase GTA games for another 4 years, as I will be 14 in 2 weeks.

I understand, and have understood since I was about 9 that its only a game. I'm not stupid enough to think that I can lose the cops IRL by going into a pay n' spray.
I would assume many people are also smart enough to realise its only a game.
Those who don't realise this, however, probably deserve the punishment they get.

to be honest i couldn't care less when i started, the GTA games are amazing and if you are underage when playing them then to me it doesn't really matter becauase it's only a game. if people are stupid enough to re-enact what happens on the game then they need their heads checking becasue real-life is completely diffeerent to a game.

What does any1 else think
Steee is the name, i cant find how to change my username. Hmm. i only play ps2 cus ive only got a ps2 aha oh and gameboy but its pretty crap now. san andreas is just the best game ever. well. halos pretty good but i dont own it and if i didi i wouldnt be able to play it lol. Thats all you need to know for now ;D

Ive played everyone except London Tour,II,and Liberty City Stories

I was about 8 on my first go at a GTA game,cant remember which one though.Ive beat all of them except San Andreas because of Learn To Fly mission
