Which version is the best?

I have the PS3 version and I was wondering, what kind of differences have people seen through the versions?

The wii version doesn't have Grim Ripper, or God of Rock. But the wii version has sounds coming out of the wiimote, which is in the guitar. Also, the sounds are more like the gh2 sounds, and the your rock! font is different

That's true... But the PS3 and 360 versions have downloadable content.

As far as I know, the Wii might have a system update, with more stuff.

That would be cool, but I still have a PS3 so that won't help me any lol.

I have it for xbox 360 and you can buy velvet revolver and the foo fighters from xbox live marketplace....al though I am having trouble finding xbox live matches....I cant decide which guitar hero I like the best 2 or 3???..those are the only ones I own

Yeah the only for PS3 GH3 sucks, it's hard to get into a match. And I can get the Foo Fighters and Velvert Revolver things too, but I have no money on my account.

Wi-fi matches arent that hard to find.

Yeah that's true. And Klaww, PS3 and 360 are better because they have better characters, graphics, sound quality, framerate, and downloadable content.

i have the wii version and its cool but i can only play the devil went down to georgia when im fighting lou so that sucks id say 360 cause you can download stuff

There are different bonus characters. In the PS2 and Wii versions, you get MetalHead and some Elvis lookin' dude, and in the PS3 and 360 versions, you get the God of Rock and the Grim Ripper.

By Elvis looking dude do you mean Tom Morrelo? I think (I know I can't get The Grim Ripper or God of Rock, I probable wouldn't have used them anyways)

My opinion?

#1- 360

Ups- 1. Online is awesome.
2. Achievements help you really dive for it and let you get even more into a frenzy playing by yourself and online.
3. Grim Ripper + God of Rock = :D
4. Downloadable content.

Downs- 1. No haxorz allowed! Although, I hate cheating, but if it's just to play a song it's not too bad...

2. PS3

I can't give too much of an opinion since I've never played this one, but I heard graphics are good on the PS3, and I think you can hack it, can't you?

3. Wii

Ups- 1. Er... Yeah...

Downs- 1. No Grim Ripper or God of Rock
2. Is there online matches on the Wii? I'm not sure, but I doubt it.
3. Sounds come from the guitar, and it makes you feel morei nto it when sounds come from TV.
4. No downloadable content as of now.

I'll agree with you that not having the Grim Ripper or God of Rock in the Wii version is a downside, oh well, at least we have MetalHead and Eleroy Budvis (or Tom Morrelo, as of this point I'm stumped)

There have been rumors going around that the Wii will have downloadable content via Wii Shop Channel

It actually makes me feel more into the game with the sounds comming from the guitar

Also, the notes sound more simalar to the First, Second, 80's on Wii and PS2

Oh, and yes, Wii has online play, and it's easier to find matches on the Wii
