The worst thing is the battle against Lou is to easy, with Slash and Tom Moreelo it took me millions of tries, but with Lou, only one try (NOTE: I can only play Easy and Medium)

GH3 is a lot harder than the other games, I don't like that. I like the awesome song list though.

Lou actually is easy on expert, there's a trick to beat him with 1 power up... Now I just gotta beat Raining Blood so I can do that.

I think the hardness is worse, red octane majorly over used the 3 chords in this game.

You shouldn't be blaming the overused cliches in this game on Red Octane.
Blame it on Neversoft, it's quite obvious that they're responsible for the changes, them working on this one no doubt influenced the changes.

i got this thing today and from wat i can say is
best thing: much more challenging and fun than GH2
worst thing: expert mode. omg dude was neversoft stoned? 50% of the notes played in expert are 3 chords! oh and also the "mosh 1" in Raining Blood >_<
Edit: Now that ive had the game for a few days
best thing: guitar battles = hella fun
worst thing: online play sux hard. it takes like 3 minutes for me to find a match and half the time it comes up with no results found.
