Pistols As A Side Gun?

I have an idea..what if you had one or two holsters to put a pistol in...Since the magnum is so weak then the gun is kinda pointless...What i am saying is you would have the normal two guns (say a shotty and a br) and then a magnum or two in the holsters...It would serve as kind of a last resort in cases when you run out of ammo...I know it would be kind of hard to fit this into halo 3 because there is no time between the games but i guess the chief could somehow find the holster or something....You could also put plasma pistols in the holsters...Tell me how you like this idea...

yea in the books the spartans uses knifes for stelth attack

yeah that would be good to...but idk if they would put a knife in...maybe it would be the equivilant to the sword...but isnt that the shotty...idk bungie will make the right choice...

nah in the book there was alot of knifes used
they were good stealth attacks and stuff

well what would be good is if you could put a knife to somebodys throat and drag them around and use thewm as a shield and once they died from the hits then you could still use their dead body as a shield and pull out like an smg and shoot at other enemies...but thats way off topic

yea lol it would be cool to have 3 guns

knifes would be kind of useful on sleeping grunts or in the back of an elite or throwing knives would be kind of cool

like starwars guy said for the draging a dead body around with a knife you could use it for cover while shooting a handgun like in splinter cell
