Uhhhh you hit R+X at the same time and thats Fake Lunge or just miss with a real lunge.

There WAS another way, but any of you that have Xbox-live may have experienced another update, premanently ending the sword flying era. But lucky people who don't and didn't get the multi-player map pack well have fun with normal X + R flying goodness, for those who have the Multi-player map pack its alot harder, trust me, ALOT harder. MPMP owners will have to press B+Y+X+R to be able to sword fly.

i know how to do it on 2 player get a rocket launcher and a plasma sword thingy use all of the rocket launchers ammo up then aim at your enemy till the reticule goes red then press R X Y three times and YOU WILL FLY AT UR ENEMY

Ive done it a few times.

ok here is how you do it:
requires:
rocket launcher
energy sword
an enemy

get the rocket launcher and aim at your opponent.make sure that the reticle turns red.then press y r r fast.if you do it right,you will lunge at the enemy.if you don't want tio hurt your opponent then switch weapons while flying.

I got the map pack and xbox live and it works. get a sword and an enemy. aim at the enemy and when the reticule is red just press right trigger and in between the lunge press x and youll miss. if the enemy jumps youll go over him and fly a ways, its called a sword cancel. if you want to rocket/sword cancel have a rocket primary and a sword secondary. empty your rocket launcher so you dont kill your enemy and aim at him so the reticule is red (make sure he is above you or else youll only move one step at a time which is pointless) then press B+X+Y+R at the same time continuously until you lunge up towards your enemy. Youll be able to lung from a farther distance and youll fly a lot higher.

I know how to do it Get a sword then sit in the passenger seat of the wart hog get the other player in a basnhe ( so its faster and so you fly higher then bring the banshe beside the passenger seat of the wart hog then the person in the passenger seat slices the basnhe once and then the person in the banshee flys away 2 the other end the the person in the wart hog gets out and then they will be flying at a fast speed all the way to were the banshee is.
