Halo 3 release date!

Although it is not yet confirmed, Halo 3 will probably be released around early next year, the same time as the Playstation 3. Which will mean the game will most likely be on the Xbox and not the Xbox Next.

dude if you have half a brain cell you would know that bungie will change tha date several times before they hit the REAL release date.

Like they did with halo 2 ducky 2.

o mi god u dont know wot ur talking about ther are several things here

1) halo 3 could well b the release game for xbox2 though highly unlikely as they are only half way through making xbox2 and probebly wont have started making games for it.

2) ENJOY HALO 2 its only been out like 5 months and every ones already talking about halo 3!!!!!

3) bungie will most likely screw around with the release date like halo1 and halo2 HELLO people theyre tryin 2 surprise u...

bartimaous u make very good points but here are my comments to each question:

1) project ego (fable (an amazing game for xbox)) was in development long b4 the xbox, yet it is an xbox only game. And they probably just started making halo 3, as u said halo 2 has only been out for 5 months (ish), so likly xbox 2 release game.

2) yes, halo2 has been out for 5 months (ish), and ues it is a great game , but its pretty much over b4 its started.

3) and yea they will probably screw round with the release date, but not to surprise, just to improve :P

But then again thats just my veiws, then again like i said, u make very good points.

kk, ducky2, but as its a thread on halo3 release date, i thought i would just place here, rather than start another thread.

I heard heard that the release date for Xbox 2(Xenon) was this upcoming november 2005. And that Halo 3 is coming out 2006 like in Febuary through April, but somewhere inbetween those dates.

that is true read it in electronic gaming but i hope i doesnt come out on PS2 it is an xbox game and thats how it should stay

I am 100% sure it won't come out for PS2 or PS3.

I agree with some of you that Halo 2 has not been out long so we should enjoy it but I found the single player campaign a bit short.
Also I don't think any of the halo games (past, present or future) will be released on the PS2 or PS3 because Microsoft are involved in making Halo 2. They also make the XBox. I don't think they will want to release one of the biggest XBox games on a rival console, but you never know.

Halo will never be released for a Sony or Nintendo console. Seeing as Halo is basically an icon for the Xbox.

i dont want an xbox2 or ps3 to come out because then if i want to finish the halo saga ill av 2 buy it which i am not to fused about.

But imagine how much better a new Halo game could be with a more powerful console.

But there coming out with a halo 2 expansion pack sometime around May or June for the xbox 1 with 2 movies, 9 new multiplayer maps.Also, bungie said they put in a couple of secrets.
