The Flood aren't really hard, not even on Legendary. Just get a Shotgun, a Sword or perhaps a Magnum (In Halo:CE because the Magnum in Halo 2 is not nearly as powerful as it's predecessor in Halo:CE)
Remember, in Halo 2, they won't get back up unless a infection form gets to them. Besides, it's really fun dancing with them (not polka mind you)

Its not fun, I agree they do kinda ruin the missions, and they are a pain the the @$$ at times....I get the story and the rest of it, its all good but in the games they just ruin it.

Lol, People hate them becuase they die alot from them. Btw, the Flood serve a crucial role in halo, And if they didn't #1. Halo wouldn't exist #2. Halo would probably be called Covenant #3. For better action than kill a grunt here, run over there "oh theres an elite, Oh well it's gone now." Look I found a jackal, Bungie created the flood. #4. Or Bungie may have created them just to make others angry.

I dont know think the flood are cool. I think its fun to get a carbine or battle rifle shoot them in that gaping hole in there chest and just watch them fall over and die in one hit. I also really agree with gravmind that halo wouldnt exsist.

yea me too you need the flood for halo to be halo

Even though they're annoying(VERY ANNOYING), they're pretty easy and Halo wouldn't be Halo without 'em.

The Flood are probably my favourite enemy to fight because they are challenging on harder difficulties.
