Yup, your able now. One heavy weapon or a weapon that you hold with 2 hands. And the other 2 on his thighs.

Yeah bungie said that brutes are actually going to be fun to take down this time and not be like just shoot them till they fall like in Halo 2. The brutes are going to be much more complex and cooler.
