Who do u prefer out of the Master Chief and The Arbiter???
It's jus a random question bt i wud like 2 know

I prefer The Arbiter cus of his amazin monotone voice, his cool armor and my fav phrase of his 'We are Allies...'

Gotta love the Arbiter's monotone voice.

I really like them both. I couldn't decide. I wish you could unlock the arbiter armor for multiplayer though. :(

I got to go with the cheif. He is a serious bad @$$. Seems like the guy you wouldn't want to meet in a dark ally.XD

I can't choose. The Chief, as Qwerty said for his awesomeness, and like you all said... Arbiter for his Momontone voice.

They both have there moments troughout the two games they are in. Don't forget that the chief's voice is awsome too. I think they are equally cool heros.

Actually, both of them were in all 3 games. Although, the Arbiter was the commander of the covenant forces on Instillation 04. He wasn't seen at all either, and wasn't called the Arbiter, but he was in the game, nontheless.

Actually, the Arbiter wasn't in Halo. He wasn't even mentioned in Halo as being the Commander of the Covenant Armada, Particular Justice(See Halo 3's manual).
Personally, I haven't been the Arbiter much, but I do think that he is better than the chief, since he has camo on demand.

The halo 2 beginning explains it all. He was the leader...but think what you want. He may not have appeared at all, but he was in it...according to bungie.

He was a Leader sent to attack the Pillar, kill the Demon, and Activate the Rings by my knowledge. He was later scolded (lawl) by the Prophets (XD). He then wanted to become the Arbiter, and well... He did. So technically he existed in all 3 Halos, just not being too well known in the first.

Wait? Didn't Truth force the duty of being the Arbiter upon him, simply because the Arbiter's missions are near impossible, so that the council would have their corpse once he died?

Actually, yes. Regret even said that the missions the Arbiter takes are suicidal and he will die. The Arbiter sure showed them!

Too bad it doesn't say what happened to him in the Legendary ending of Halo 3.

I say he died. What happened? Or maybe he its a different end and the Arbiter is still in the cockpit of the dawn.

The Legendary ending just has extra stuff after the credits. The Arbiter got to Earth in the Dawn and attended the memorial service for those who died and, I'm guessing, scratched 117 into the memorial. After which he left with the Shipmaster and the other Elites to go back to their homeworld. The Arbiter survived Halo 2 and 3.

[color=red]actually dude if you watch till the end of the credits(on any difficulty) you'll see that master chief survives and freezes himself till the humans(or whatever race is dominant in later years finds him)(also I got no idea what happens at end of legendary(i really suk at this game[never beat level cortana in easy on solo >.<])[/color]

also i forgot I prefer Master Chief because he is awesome and has defied death when death was inevitable
