Sniping Spots

Well in last resort grab yourself the grav lift and the active camo. and then head over to the three pillar things on the ground and put the gravity lift on the one closest to the wall, then stand on it and then jump onto the black thing sticking out of the top then, Jump onto the powerlines and run along them until you have a view of 1/4 of the whole level. Easy kills.

On some maps my friend made theres a way up there by jumping off boxes, where we all fight with Shotguns, lol.
For Sniping I use any part of the level, I prefer the top of the spinning wheel which you can jump on top of.

Just like all sniping spots like this. It ain't THAT great. You can see everyone, they can see you. Kill the same people too much. You get trouble... Geddit?

Very true. But that is why you have to have an arsenal of differant sniping spots. And make sure they are good sniping spots.

Very true too. But you also make sure you don't camp in th same area or people will try to avoid it. Also don't just keep sniping. Go around for some in your face combat. This will make people think you have given up sniping, but after a little bit snipe again. More people will be back in the open (presuming there are no other snipers)

Here's why you keep a lot of different sniping spots. To avoid camping. It'll get you booted in the best-case scinario, but in the worst case, someone will get the rythm of your one spot, and camp there with a shotgun and get a ton of kills on you with it. Snipe's useful, but in the hands of a n00b, it's almost suicide.

Here's a better plan. On Valhalla, shoot out of the human catapult and send a headshot across the map, then get it the middle of the map and take advantage of a few kills quickly on the huge hill, but just don't stop moving! Valhalla has enough cover and open planes for skilled Snipers to go on a rampage.

you could also go to forge and make a floating platform out of boxes and make a teleporter (A HIDDEN ONE!) and pick off people from so high up they cant even see you!

The spot would still work, as long as you switch between 3-4 every couple kills, that way u dont get booted =p

And yet...I have never bin booted....:P

I tend to move around while Sniping, so I don't use Sniping spots.

my spot would be in a small corner to hide in or behind somthing then ill move to another so they dont find me

That is the best way to snipe. Providing you still get headshots. It also improves your no scope skill.

Yeah, gotta agree with the two guys above me. Even though I'm a sick sniper, I love running around and doing sniper tricks (shooting some1 with the sniper then melee) it warms my soul to hear ppl in the post game going "WTF, I HATE YOU! YOU FREAKIN RUSHED ME!"

that happen to me yesterday i shot my uncle and he got so ****** he left the room fo a hour.i shiped him some more till he got back(far distance is a good advantage)

True that, but that dang smoke trail the bullet the bullet leaves behind. It's like an evil arrow saying "SHoot me! I'm over here!" Good thing that most ppl on Halo 3 are retarded. I got the EASIEST Sharpshooter today. I stood in ONE place CONTINUOUSLY, only moving to get more ammo. No one even tried to get close to me, and I didn't even die through the entire match, bagging mmyself another Running Riot. Unfortunatley, my team lost. (sad frowny face.)

well that must stink online today i was sniping people and no one saw me because i was right by a cloaking device and sniper ammo my team won 7-26
