Halo Reach LIFE Saving legendary tips to help you REACH that precious achievement

I have just finished a solo run of legendary and I have some tips for you gamers out there.

:Cover, nuff said.


Always keep a ranged weapon on hand, most elites and grunts can't see too far ahead.

If you see a plasma pistol TAKE IT, one overcharge blast can kill an Elites shield which means either a headshot or melee attack will finish it off.

Drop shield is the powerup to watch out for, it shields you and recharges your help.

If your unsure whether an area is clear send out a hologram into the area, this saves you taking unnecessary damage.

Needlers are a better substitute over the assault rifle.

Never use a close range weapon, Elites kicks are insta kills.

Save your grenades and power weapons, they are life savers on this difficulty.

And finally kick some covenant butt along the way (Tbagging will make me feel happier too ^.< )

So how long did it take you to complete it?

About 5 days since I have to fit the time in from college studies .etc

In total adding up the mission times it was 13 hours, Pillar of autumn had a glitched checkpoint towards the end so never get yourself in one place too long.
