First, this is my first "real" video game. (I know, I know). I inherited a PS2. I always loved this game on PC so I (rush!) ordered it on Amazon. Now the thing is here and I can't play it!
It loads at first. Loads up the little Sony *ding ding* screen. The screen is black for a second and stays black while it starts to "load" Bertie Botts cards across the bottom. They tick off, until they reach the other side. Then that's it. Pressing start doesn't work. Actually, no button seems to be doing the job.
My controller is wireless but the signal light that plugs into the console and the light on the controller both flash green. I suppose this doesn't mean that the buttons are not out, but still.
The disc doesn't have any major scratches and my console loaded another game ("game" = Guitar Hero) just fine.
Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
