What is with the chapters in this game? when do each end/begin? and how many are there?

They all begin on the first of Spring and end on the 10th or Winter, if that is what you mean

I know this is weird but where do you get normal fodder from!!!!
I can't order it and havnt got a sickle to cut any grass with!
My cow has stopped giving milk alltogether because she is hungry and i can't feed her.
HELP!
I have good fodder but she doesnt seem to like it

ok, well the first step is to go buy fertilizer from Vesta, then you put it out into your fields... after that you put your cow out and it'll eat on the grass that was fertilized. when that grass gets dark green you can cut it but if you fertilize it you should be ok. just put the cow out everyday. good luck

you cant cut the grass in the winter though :( i have hardly any money - and have to keep buying good fodder for two cows and horse because its winter and i have no fodder left :( only in year one. i should not of bought a cow yet and should of put loads of fertiliser down earlier lol

yeah, for some reason, the grass doesn't grow in winter, but your animals will still eat it thankfully.

oh, i never knew that. i didnt want to risk putting them outside incase they got ill. guess what though - i could cut the grass in winter. it was around day 6 i think, but it still hasnt had anymore grown and im in year 2, spring now. and OMG!!! i did NOT get a daughter like i wished at the pot thingy :( i have a son.

well, you can put your animals outside as long as it isn't snowing or raining, but i don't know why you wouldn't get a daughter, but a son isn't too bad

I thought you weren't able to have a girl at all in this game because most farmers are guys.. Maybe its that. or none of ya'll have good luck
