ok this may just be a rumour but i've heard that if you become friends with MukuMuku(that white thing) you get a pet lizard, i do know that he give you a record though "the joy of fall" i think.
also i've heard Carter gives you a small dog. if you know anything fill me in.

chichuawa (small dog)
cat
lizard
racoon
dog
cow
horse
sheep
goat
and maybe some more
but they're what i've got

those are some of the animals cause i am sure there will be more in the game lol but they ar egood lol

Chiwawa:Befriend Carter(find all the stone tablets[1 in each chpt])
Cat:Get it from Romana in Chpt 2+(befriending her makes her give it to u faster)-MAKE SURE U WAKE UP AFTER YOUR WIFE!!-
Lizard:I think if u befriend Mukumuku, he will give it to u(give him fishes)
Raccoon:Befriend Vesta and Marlin(NOTE:CHAPTER 1, YEAR 1 ONLY)
OF COURSE U CAN GET A DOG!!BEGINNING OF THE FRIGGIN GAME!
Cow:you can order one at the ordering place-u get one at the beginning of your game!!!!
Horse:One day in late spring, Takakura will give u the Horse(random color)
Sheep: Order one where u order the cows and chickens and stuff.
Goat:Buy it from Van Chapter 2-comes with a goat milker-
Owl:Befriend everyone in town, and have the "Cleaning Up the Spring" event with the Harvest Sprites
Turtle:Befriend Cody and one day, U will have an event(at the pond where turtle is) and then later, Cody will give u the turtle(Chapter 1 only!!)
Ducks: in Chapter 2+(only if u have the pond), wake up after your wife in summer on a non-rainy day.
Baby Ducks:Have at least 4 or less hens,1 rooster, and the two ducks u got. look under the chickens.there is a 50% chance u will get baby ducks from the fertilized egg.

haha.lol.u know, just cuz i have lots of money dont mean i have an exciting game.cuz i may be able to buy stuff, but can i get all the pets in a day?can i get each and every tool?can i befriend everyone?can i have every item?can i go to free play mode asap?can i do all that stuff in like one hour? the answer to that is no unless i get new codes for all of the above.so ppls who dont have lots of money, feel proud cuz u can do all that i said(not in an hour)and u can enjoy the game more.u get more excited cuz u guys get the excitement of getting new things and stuff.and it lasts a long time too.so be proud non-rich ppls, be proud.

yeah, about pets, on the front cover of the game, i have seen there is a picture of a tortiose, is there a way to get tht as a pet????

No there is no way to capture the turtle. You can see him sometimes in the little swap thing between the artists house and the beach.

i don't have it though
my farm is still overloaded however
oh and with the ARM cheats (action replay max) dont buy too many cows and other animals or you cant get a horse

I don't have them yet because I don't play as much, but my friend has them all. He's a REAL Harvestmoon Freak! lol
