Ok i started a new game and im going after Ann this time, Ive been giving her lots of presents each day and the harvest goddess raised her affection torwards me, well her heart is STILL black and its the 10 of summer. please tell me if its normal or something >_> because im getting really frusturated.

ok, one reason could be that your giving gifts in bunches, instead of once a day, because only one present counts in one day.
or maybe you aren't giving her the gifts she really like?

Black Heart Event - I triggered event on a Friday. Around 10:00am -
1:00pm possibly.
Purple Heart Event - You have to answer one of her questions this is triggered when your on the second floor of the Inn 10:00am - 1:00pm on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
Blue Heart Event - Trigger this by heading to the Inn on Mondays I think Fridays as well around 12:00pm - 7:00pm. Another question one.
Yellow Heart Event - Triggered around 10:00am - 7:00pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday.
And watch out for rival events:

Harvest Moon Rocks!!!! I'm in my 11th year since 6-26-05! Now I am playing Harvest Moon: MORE Friends of Mineral Town! It came out on 7-27-05! If you have the girls game, ask me if you want some cheats!
