help with fences

how do i put up a fence?

I dont know If you can.

i know how, al you do is take a log out of your wood bin and set it on the SOIL in the field don't place it on grass (like in frount of your house) or it will dissappear) make a square with the wood so you can put animals in the wood will rot eventually and you can't move it after that so hit it with your hammer and put a new piece of wood there, the guy who builds you extensions to your house and that kind of stuff will sell golden lumber which will never rot but i wouldn't get it since it costs 100000 gold. to make a fence that dosent rot and isn't expensive just use stones from the field that turn up after blizzards and tornadoes if you don't make fences and let your animals out stray dogs will come and scare away chickens unless you dog is out side.

how would i go about making a door to the inside of the fence?

you don't really need a door to put chickins in you can just use R to run and jump over the fence before putting it in side the fence but if you want to put a cow or sheep inside the fence just move 1 or 2 stones or wood out of the way put the cow/sheep in and put the stone/wood back where it was, do the same thing to get the cow/sheep out.

P.S. i forgot to mention this in my last post but never use golden lumber in your fence because all the town folk will come to your farm and get mad at you (don't ask me why) and girls will lose relation ship points for everyday you have the golden lumber out.

i reccomend using stones or branches rather than lumber because lumber always rots after a certain days but dont ever put a golden lumber outside your house...
