Was anyone else out there surprised by the way some of the characters voices were in the game, considering that all off the characters used to speak in text?

I thought Sora's voice was like way different for only being a "year" in between games in the first one his voice was all sqweaky now in this one his voice is supppsed to be al deep ?i just don't get it . But i did like clouds voice it must be the same voice actor from the movie
