I think mario should go broad spectrum like SSB. They should include people from everywhere like kirby and samus.

Nah cause then we would have "Super Smash Racers" but in mario, they have all these babies, but no Baby Bowser. (Not bowser jr, even though he's my fav.)

Kinda would take away from the Mario Kart part. Trust me the cross series racing games fail badly.

Agree completly, it would take away what is special about the game, I wouldnt even get the game if theyput link samus etc. in there.

Giga Bowser is a concept from the first Paper Mario game, perhaps even earlier. Whoever said it's a smash exclusive obviously didn't play the best RPG console game ever invented, which happens to be mentioned above.

I agree, Shy Guy should be in the Game, and Birdo wouldn't be a add, but it wouldn't be like REALLY good just alright. Also maybe R.O.B? Maybe Goomba. XD

fyi, Birdo IS in tha game, you get her/him by doin' Time Trials on 16 courses er winnin' like 250 online races.

Giga Bowser occurs when Bowser utilizes the star rod on the Giga Platform: a special stage built specially for the purpose of being able to crush Mario. Final boss in the game, only beatable with Peach Beam, insanely easy either way. It's where the concept was ninja'd from.
R.O.B may be a nice addition... I'm sure Paul would like him, seeing as he was his main in DS.
