I'm tied in with Solid Snake, and Grey Fox! Those two are my top faves, but if I have to go with MGS4.... I'd say Snake, and Liquid.

I would have to pick riden because he is non-stop killing macine.I mean,he lost both of his arms,so he used his feet to chop the guys up.(spoiler).I think that is one of the reasons he's going to be the star of his own video game(METAL GEAR SOLID:REVENGENCE).

I beat the Game 5 times for stealth and did not get it I beat this in every setting for nothing....

i don't know about ya'll but only 2 characters made a difference in mgs4, Liquid Ocelot and Big Boss.
Solid Snake and Raiden are cool but they have nothing on Big Boss
