WELL, you could try those Anti-Dragon Bombs... All you gotta do is jump on the Lao's back using those ledges and plant them. But Shen Gaoren is a whole 'nother story.

hi im azure rathalos, to kill lao or ashen lao get a carbalite sword and upgrade it into the long sword, 1008 attack and 10% affinity when maxed, then get a full set of rathalos soul u armour decorate it up to reckless abandon+3 and smash his belly only stopping to sharpen and dont bother with any fort weapons exept maby balister or the dragonator and if you do it right he'll die with 1-2 mins spare. this equip will kill most things in the game as well.
