Sorry y'all, its been a ghost town so i dont check here too often,, that is untill more peoples start posting. And new tip on lao:
GS, DS, LS, G/Lance, Bow = HEAD
Hammer = stomach
I usually use either LS or hammer on lao.

To G33K and Otaku:
Do you think it would be cool if people were allowed to post 2G stuff, y'now just to get more people heres?

And i learned about Lao that there is a Great, good, and poor spot to hit, which is the stomach, head and feet respectively, and ESP makes things a lot easier.

Yeah...You're right...Hitting it's legs can make it flinch and just go wild on its belly as you have more free time...Hahaha! And of course! You have to break it's horn first...It takes less than a minute to break it =) you know that already don't you? Haha! It's been a long time already since i'm out from this forum for many months already...

Ballista does good damage acctually, It does about 100 Damage, which is different than raw power.
Damage = damage done to wyvern/minion
raw power = the statistic in a complicated process of figureing out how much damage a weapon does.
Or use a damage calculator: http://mhp2gcalculator.free-site-host.com/Damage_Calculator.php
Just follow instructions and it will give you how much damage you will deal.

To get an idea of raw pow to damage, i have a new hammer in 2G that has 1144 raw power and blue sharpness, and i deal 30 to 40 damage to high rank wyverns. And this topic is so old, is this for killing regular lao or Ash??? (Btw, that calculator is not mine )

and i know ballista is well-powered but it waste my time, run from lao to the fort, climb ladder, aim ballista. just to cancel it and go for the dragonator

1. I tried to link, but PHAILD
2. What u need to do is stay at the ballista as Lao is entering area 5 from area 4. Once it is in rang, you unload you ballistas, then jump down and attack.
If you do the process right it should go like this:
1. Cannon ball hits lao.
2. After the cannon ball hits, by the time you get into the ballista turret and aim, lao should be in range.
3. By the time you unload all your shots, you should have about 30 seconds to hit it B4 it reaches fortress.
