HoW dO u Do ThE PoWdErStOnE mIsSiOn?

Help me people
i need help with the village elder 5* deliver 1 piece of powderstone
i know u hav to kill the gravious, and use a mega juice but i keep getting jumped on by the ioprey
can any1 give me some tips pls?

First of all get the backpacking expert skill from your armour, this enables you to run faster when your carrying an item, then stick to the right on the map, you'll only have bullfango to deal with then, and with backpacking expert their easy to avoid. Also get the auto tracker skill and you'll be able to see the Gravios at all times on the map and avoid running into it. Happy hunting.

how do u get the backpacking expert skill?
wat armour do i need?

The second you pick up the powderstone DROP it and take this path
8 --> 7 --> 6 --> 4 --> 1 --> Base
Make sure you clear all areas (Some areas can't be cleared because the monsters will respawn but you'll need the extra help)

Backpacking is helpful but powderstone is already one of the easy missions, all you realy need is some Mega Juice and know how to NOT run in a straight line.

thank you for the help people i used backpacking skill and megajuice, i just ran through all the areas you told me to.
now i am stuck on four horns, i use a bow gun because my friend told me to but i only hav 20 mins left after killing the first one and cannot fight the one in the huge desert bit( i think its area 2)
can anyone tell me wat to do for that pls.

Get your backpacking skill to 15 or over and you get the ability, alot of different armour has it.

Dont gun on four horns, get plesioth water sword and you should be ok. diablos doesnt like the water attribute. i used full ratholos when i done it with the water sword, bring 10 sonics, 20 screamers, 20 gunpowder, potions and the usual hunter gear. good luck

or you could try frost edge+

wat weapon route do you take to get to the frost edge+,
is the 1st plesioth watersword any good for it?

Once you get an ice crystal you can see how to create the frost edge, frost edge+ comes next then thats it. I dont think you can upgrade to the frost edge from another sword though. The great swords are pretty rubbish for fighting wyverns really, their to slow and they dont even get through their armour half the time, trust me bowguns and small swords are the way to go.

but small weapons do not do alot of damage do they?
should i try and get some dual swords?

Yeah they do alot of damage and they hit faster than anything else, plus you can block and dodge quickly, their easier to use to because you can move alot faster, Forst edge+ has 210 attack, 480 water damage and green sharpness, and small swords never bounce off unless your sharpness is in the yellow or under, were hunter rank 5 and have done all the quests with guns and small swords, dual swords blunt quickly and you cant block so we wouldnt recommend them, they are good for fighting the lao shan though as it moves slowly and demonize increases your damage.

i am now on the loa shang, so should i use my frost edge+?
i hav tried my eager cleaver i hadd 2mins left and the fort got destroyed.
my plesioth watersword was rubbish i had 8mins left and it destroyed the fort.
wat can i do?
i'm trying to get the bellion is that any good?

well for loa shan i wold recommend a h.bowgun with 300+ attack such as mountain eater or earth eater this is my personal chioce though and make sure you get somthing that can shoot clust lv2 and bring 4 books of combo and combine sm bone husk with wyvern claw. just mainly bring explosive shots oh yea wat HR are you

doing the missions to get to HR3

I beat lao shun with the garuga weapon, sentoryu wolf... The upgraded sentoryu raven, that can be made with garuga plus parts. Since it had white sharpness and 800+ dmg I found it more helpful then the weapons you currently have. If those are the only weapons you have, I suggest a garuga killing spree till you hit S.Wolf... Or kill other monsters and get other weapons... Or get a rust stone for eternal schisms (the dragon dual swords)... or ancient stone... I forgot a lot cause I haven't played in like 2 months so...

ok well if you need helpwith anything ask me im HR5 and can kill anythink with my expert sword except lao shan and fatalis

Elites i need some more help pls,
its the mission wyverns of land and sky.
i used the frost edge+ but i got destroyed by them.
i tried using flash bombs to stop them but i can only seem to get 1 and then while i hit the rathian i get poisoned by the ratholos.
so hav u got any tactics and items i need to take?

well i was on that for months what I had was the expert sword and had 200 defence. just concentrate attacks on rathian but at the same time pay attention to rathalos to. when rathalos flys up in the air go underneath it and it cant touch you. flash bombs are good, pitfall traps,well done steaks take an ancient potion and mega potions then if you fail keep trying after you have these items together and cant do it its all up to getting more experienced hope this helps

so which 1 is better to kill first because some say the rathalos to stop him poisoning and others say then rathian.
i would say rathian but wat is ur opinion?
