I hope this topic isn't out of place.
Anyway, who is getting Monster Hunter 3 even though it is only coming out for the Wii? I am! I love Monster Hunter and the Wii! I might even get Monster Hunter Freedom 3 if that ever happens. |

That whole thing is up in the air. Some people (including me) do not believe it is coming out for wii, others do, even though there is a trailer on you tube, i still doubt it. If it does come out i am so getting it, but i don't think it will be for wii. It doesn't make sense! (And this topic is not out of place since there is no forum of mhf3 for wii)

It IS coming out on WII, the only thing that is unsure is if its comeing out in america.

doesnt make sense, it went from psp's to wii... wii > psp? what? thats not right.... they are not only switching from console to console, they are also switching companies, maybe nintendo had some great ideas that capcom couldnt resist

They have came out with a new game in japan called monster hunter frontier, which is what i believe you all are talking about. It not only has the ability to go online but its not just hunting, It's competitions too. That is what i have read, I'm not sure what system its for, but it's not psp.

Ok, i got all the info, it will be called monster hunter frontier and it is coming out for PC ONLY. There will be new weapons like a long sword with a shield, a long great sword, short dual swords, short hammers and a very long lance. It will be able to hunt online with others and other things, there will be plenty of new monsters, one example is the silver Akala, which is a giant scorpion with a silver spiked back. Another example is a monster that looks like a combo of a diablos and a rathian. A rathian body with red spikes all over and a horn like a monoblos except smaller. The name is not listed. Now the info you have all been waiting for, drum roll please, it comes out, September 3rd 2008, but i believe it will be mostly be in japanese.

I see what your getting at, and you may be right but, i have hard no info on a monster hunter freedom 3 only frontier. We need to get someone on the inside on this, none of us can be sure. Also, can you get me the link to that "site about the new one", so i can check it out.
