1/4 Mile Drag Times.

I've got a set up that has managed 6.44 with it. :D

I manged to get 6.8 seconds with the Supra.

The best so far I can do with the Supra is 6.64 or something...
I've kind of stopped caring trying to get faster at quarter miles in a way...
Cause the thing is my Camaro refuses to get even close to my PB of 5.46 now and I've also noticed something about the clock that is at the top of the screen...I've decided to watch it intently as well as the stage completed percentage next to it.
I have noticed my game cuts to the cinematic part of the car braking when I reach 95% and so therefore when I see the time for 95% it's for some reason very different to the time it shows. I mean for instance I have seen the time at 95% at 5.51 seconds, but the final time is like 5.66!
I've also noticed that I can watch the tenths go by fairly easily and for some reason when I'm nearing the end of the quarter mile and the time is say at 5.2 seconds it will jump to 5.5. O_o
Now I know it's hard to calculate mere tenths, but you can notice the unsual jump.

So there you go. Issues with my version of the game.

5'86'' (9'21'' on 1/2) with my Zonda. Just posted a new thread with my setup. it's got only STAGE 3 parts, so i guess it can be improved.
Also, 6'9'' with my Supra. That one's got only stage 3 parts too. And i guess i can lower it, i haven't just tried it since i got the free car marker... wich made me get the Zonda. If someone's got a GT500 setup, with only stage 3 parts, a good one, please let me know. Thxs

Another question... wich track is the best one for 1/4 and 1/2 drag?... there are some that have kind'a bumps and stuff that make my cars not only sometimes raise a little, but also make's them got from side to side and eventually crash... Hope there's one perfect...

The best one really is Portland International Raceway for the pure drag racing if you ask me.
The best for the Wheelies however is Chicago airfield.
In addition, I do have a set up that can make the Zonda go faster, but it's not the one in the Car Tuning thread. That set up has changed!

i think his is simualr to mine since, the zonda can hit top speed in 3rd

The suspension set up is exactly the same i.e. soft front, stiff rear and leave the toe, camber, caster and steering ratio at default.
Engine wise...I think it's the same as well, but I will post the set up soon so it doesn't matter as such.

if push it hard enough it will do it in 3rd, btw the timing needs b 100% perfect otherwise you blow up the engine

Would that be why the person who holds the record of 5.06 managed it or what?

yo there is another method for the perfect launch im trying ti at the moment and we will see how well it goes soon.
