I decided it might be a good idea to sort of have some storage of the Stage 4 upgrade locations.
If you do know can you please post them in?
Right now the ones I remember are:
1) Stage 4 Engine at Showdown Autobahnring and the 4th choice.
2) Stage 4 Drive Train at the Super Promotion Tokyo Dockyard and I think it was the second.

Just a tip as well, keep the Kings' cars because they usually tend to have ALL the Stage 4 parts equipped to their cars, then you can use them for other modes; I remember using Karol Monroe's Mustang for Grip and it actually wasn't too bad.

Another tip, If you happen to get a Stage 4 upgrade for your Drag car, use it ONLY for tuning, then switch it back to Stock to keep the settings. Stage 4 for some reason unsettles the car no matter what you do, and I reckon thats the solution to the veering to one side problem, use STOCK suspension, but use an aftermarket suspension only for tuning.

davy: Yeah I found the package you get is random, but it's still the same choice.
Murcielago: I found that too! Normally a stiffer suspension in drag would work as well because it would be "squeezing" the bumps down on the track, but then when I set it softer for my Mazda RX-8 it smashed my previous best time by a tenth and allowed me to get 7.03 seconds.

Don't bother, the max power output of the GTR Proto is 813hp, and more power doesn't necessarily mean fast times... Take my 911 Turbo as an example. It only has 614hp fully tuned, but it has 800Nm of torque which means it still rips everybody to shreds on the straights, and the handling... don't get me started on how it corners, I'll go on for days....

No I was gonna use it for speed, I had one with 700bhp + , and it was dead on for my liking,

Oh right. Actually if you want a change, the perfect Speed car is the R34 GTR all stage 4 parts and Stage 2 suspension. Just soften up the springs to deal with tracks like Nevada.

That's for Nevada though. For somewhere like Ebisu have the springs, shocks and rebound dampers around default, but for Autobanhring you can stiffen it a bit.

Autobahnring's kick@$$ for Speed. you can floor it the whole way, no need to slow down at all. Although the Skyline seems to have a bit of trouble with the last hairpin on C.

Mehsers. I prefer using the Lotus Elise though that was on my now corrupted file.
I'm about to try the BMW M3 E46 because the Lotus Elise began losing power easily.

You should seriously give the R34 a go, with the Stage 2 suspension it does not catch air AT ALL, which is especially important on Nevada C with that massive hill before the first checkpoint. Whereas all the opposition have to brake, you can fly through that section at 350kph :D.
