Well about the tyres bit...
Drifters say to start with it may be easier to have soft compounds at the front and harder ones at the rear to help with drifting on the entrance due to the front having more grip for obvious reasons.
This effect can also be created on a smaller level with the tyre pressures because if the tyre was low pressured we obviously know it gives more grip and of course vice versa.
I would explain why for the tyres physics, but really it's not that important.
