ok, calm down lil man. while driving around, you may notice colored streetlights(red, blue, green, purple, etc.) those are hints that a shop is near by. when you find a shop, you can by upgrades.
yellow-car specialties shop
green-body shop
blue-performance shop
light blue-car lot
purple-garage

you can also just read the manual!

I will solve all u problems. As u are driving around you may have noticed or if u are colour blind then it is a diffrent matter. you will find most of these shops [upgrades] in baywatch view i think.

yellow-car specialties shop
green-body shop
blue-performance shop
light blue-car lot
purple-garage

By the way you need to unlock these sort of things hoods ect.
As i am 78% compleate now and 80% of stuff unlocked.

okay, dudes for starters you can only paint the bonnet of your at stage 3 i think.

second, ive got a mustang gt, celica, hummer, mx5

third, you can read the sms messages that you recieve will driving around to get more information about the game.

You have to go and find shops. If you look at the highway signs and such, there's colors, follow them.
