I got about 5 seconds.
I did this by getting a full tank of nos and when I challenged another racer, I made sure I made him spin out of control first then challenged and absolutely slammed all my nos out.

i just come up behind them at 150 at least and ram the heck outta them. it flips them and i speed off and win. mine was about 7 sec. with a civic.

also, just make sure not to flip out urself, just press up on the analog stick to put weight on the front.
