In your opinion, what do you think is the most overrated Wii game?

I would say The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I seriously can't figure out what's so good about this game. It's not a bad game by any means, but nothing at all special. I just couldn't get into it as I could with Ocarina of Time and the wolf bits where you went hunting for shadow insects were extremely boring and tedious, and I coudn't stand Midna (I assure you that if you haven't played this game, when you do you'll learn to hate her).

Wii Sports was a lot worse, but there wasn't a great deal of hype about it and at least you got it for free.

I completely agree with your pick I bought TP 2 months ago, played it for 5 hours then never bothered touching it again

I never really understood whats so great about mario galaxy,it might have been the wii's top game last year, but I woulden't buy it even for 10$.I really don't like the gameplay for it,one thing worth mentioning though is that the game has above-average visuals(wii standard)

Well. I was definitly hoping that Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles would be alot better than it was. I rented it and to be honest, no. 4 is so much better than it.

Anyone is welcome to use some of my stocks.

I enjoyed Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles but I found it was a bit short lived. It was great for revealing missing links in the storyline, though, and it looked a lot into Wesker's character too.

As for Resident Evil 4, I preffered the Gamecube version. The Wii version's aiming is a bit too jumpy and now looks unrealistic, and like all other versions but the Gamecube version the Wii version screwed with the plot with Seperate Ways (which was terrible). The Wii version was still worth getting for the other extras, though.

I probably should of explained myself better.
I thought that if you were able to move yourself around instead of the game moving for you it would have been alot better. That's why I thought No. 4 was better. Sure the graphics, sound, and gameplay were good in UC, but I was expecting a little more from what i'd heard about it. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it didn't seem as good to me as I thought it would.

Probably Red Steel, I read loads of things about it that said it was pretty good, but overall the graphics were meh, aiming was awkward at times and took a while to get used to, and the multiplayer was glitchy enough for me to get out of one of the maps.

I found that LoZ:TP was pretty good, had great graphics for a Wii game when it first came out, I did find Midna annoying, but I did enjoy the game a lot.

No. Red Steel is and was epic. It's how I mastered the Wii's motion control :D

And I say the most overrated game is... I don't know. The ones I've played don't seem like it to me :/

I did enjoy Red Steel, but it was meh, I did enjoy the sword fighting parts though.

I thought Mario Kart Wii was over-rated, it's just Mario Kart DS with better graphics.

Red Steel is actually pretty good. Despite the guy's hand looking retarded when holding a one-hand weapon, it was enjoyable, if annoying at times. The sword battles were rather repetitive though - guy swings, you parry and hit; guy power swings, you dodge and hit; you swing, guy either gets hurt, blocks or parries. Special moves were pointless and were no fun to pull off.

I haven't played Mario Galaxy, but seriously, it can't be THAT good can it? The story sounds a bit too far-fetched for my liking, and it seems that it's heading in the same direction is the pokémon games for that reason. Not sure what the gameplay is like though.

I think Mario Galaxy is overrated, I mean you walk around and do basically nothing, yet people say it's so cool.

Probably, I think Wii Play or Wii Music. I mean think about it. What is Wii Music? Just moving your Wii Remote around. Try playing with your eyes close, it's just not fun. As for Wii Play, that has been in the top 20 games for such a long time. Come on, it's not THAT good.

I have Wii Play. I beat the entire game within an hour and never went back to it. And as for Wii Music, I've never heard of it, but it sounds like another one of those family orientated games that Nintendo is so keen to keep bringing out.

Wii Music seems like Nintendo's half-assed version of Rock Band. But I hate Rock Band anyway so I don't really care. And you people are crazy to say Mario Galaxy was overrated, it deserved all the attention it got, unless you play it all the way through and stuff then you never truly appreciate it. If you play as far as like the fourth or fifth galaxy you never get to experience any of the really cool galaxies.

The two games I've played so far that dissappointed me most were No More Heroes and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. No More Heroes got really repetitive with tha constant do jobs, get cash, kill a bunch of people, kill a boss cycle. I didn't even finish it. And Star Wars was average as far as gameplay and story go (the story seemed flat compared to the movies and lacked emotion). But it was the length that killed it for me. It only took me 9 hours and 33 minutes to complete and at the start of the last level I was like 'WTF this is it!? What a rip-off!'.

I never played LoZ: TP so I don't really have an opinion on it but Mario Galaxy was not overrated, it was genuinely good.

You realise that that sort of logic could be used on every single game ever created, right?

You might kill me for this, but Mario Kart Wii. I found it boring compared to MKDS andthe karts were just lazy. I enjoyed it but as I don't have online, it gets boring just beating records on time trials.

With the Twilight Princess, I thought the first half of the game had the best dungeons - Goron Mnes, Lakebed Temple, Arbiter's Grounds. Forest Temple was a bit silly, but it wasn't too bad either. Unfortunately, a lot of what you had to do in between (the Shadow Insect hunting over anything) was no fun unless you've played through it a few times before and you know what to do.

The second half of the game had two horrible dungeons - Snowpeak Ruins was extremely annoying and the City In The Sky was an awful location that just didn't fit in with the game at all, and it was also a crap dungeon. The Temple of Time was neither good or bad, it was just one of those dungeons that you'd be most likely to forget about because it was neither good enough to remember or bad enough to remember. Hyrule Castle rocked, but then again Zelda games always have great final dungeons. However, the second half had more fun things to do in between. The part where you raided the Hidden Village and had to kill all the Bulbins was probably the most fun part of the game.

The bosses were all great though. I don't think there wa one bos in the game I didn't have fun against.

As much as I like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I have to say people gave it too much credit. It's not much different from Melee, yet people were so excited when it was first released. Subspace Emissary was an incredible waste of time, some Final Smashes are extremely cheap, and what's with the slipping thing? You walk for less than a second and you immediately fall down!! Ugh...

SSBB tripping is retarded yes.
TP is an awesome game, I had fun playing City in the Sky until I had to get to the guy, could figure out how to Clawshot up there, and had to experiment with Ooccoos to fly to the right spot. Great games overall.
Most overated is Wii Play to me.
