help
when ever i try to run some of my programs e.g. msn, record now etc. a message pops up saying "the application faild to initialize properly (0xc0000034). click ok to terminate the application please if any one knows why it comes up with this or if you know how to stop it coming up and make my application work. thx | ||

Run virus scans, defragment the system or try re-installing the programes

Sounds like a system error to me. Defragging doesn't actually fix problems you know, all it does is clear space contrary to popular belief. And how can he scan for virii if his programs won't open?
Ok dude, that sounds pretty serious; either email Microsoft (they do actually reply pretty quickly) and if they can't help you, then put your windows disc in your computer and restart. When it boots from the CD say you want to install xp (Don't go into the recovery console) and then select your installation from the list that comes up and press the key to repair. It won't format so you won't lose any files or installed programs, all it does is reinstall system files.  | ||
