Supercheats Official Pokemon Tournament #6!!! :Final round posted:

Ok, this was originally made by kevin, however he has left sc so I will be running this tourney now. The people who have alread signed up will still remain signed up, so dont worry.


TOURNAMENT RULES

If you don't read these, I'll probably eject you for breaking the rules.

Rule 1: No Extreme Hacking WHATSOEVER!

If you are caught doing this, you're ejected from the tournament, and banned from tournaments until we've given you enough time.

Extreme Hacks include(Refer to Legal/Legit Clause):

1. Unobtainable moves and abilities on Pokémon. [IE, teaching Salamence Sacred Fire.]
2. Illegal move combinations.
3. 999 in stats.
4. 252 in all EV's.
5. 31 in all IV's.
6. Over the limit of normal stats.
7. Outside possble Met Location and Level.

However, FAIR HACKING IS ALLOWED AS LONG AS IT'S IN THE LEGAL GAME LIMITS. Fair hacking includes:

1. Quick EV Training.
2. Quick training to Level 100.
3. Nature modifiers.
4. Wild Pokémon Modifier.
5. PokéSav'd Pokémon in legal game limits.

Rule 2: Standard Clauses

All of the usual clauses in this tournament will be in play. Here are the clauses and explanations taken directly from the Rule Thread, started by Fwank:

Item Clause - participants may not use duplicate items; i.e. each pokemon must hold a different item.

Species Clause - participants may not use duplicate pokemon; i.e. only one pokemon of each species may be used on a team.

Sleep Clause - participants are not allowed to put more than one pokemon to sleep on the opposing team, this doesn't include rest and double battles, where the number of pokemon put to sleep is two rather than one.

Self-KO Clause - if both teams have one pokemon remaining, participants may not use moves to result in a tie or stalemate; use of such a move would be recorded as the user's lost. These moves include:

~ Selfdestruct
~ Explosion
~ Destiny Bond
~ Perish Song

Luck Item Clause - You and your opponent can not use Items that rely on luck to be activated. These items include:

~ Focus Band
~ Bright Powder
~ Quick Claw

Legal/Legit Clause - None of the pokemon can have illegal movesets, 999 in all stats, 255 EVs in all stats, 31 IVs in all stats, or have been caught in places that they normally wouldn't have been caught at. These include but not limited to:

~ Salamence with Ice Beam
~ Garchomp met at level 2
~ Suicune wth No Gurad Ability
~ Raikou with 999 Special Attack

OHKO Clause - participants may not use OHKO moves that do not do any real damage themselves. These moves include:

~ Horn Drill
~ Fissure
~ Sheer Cold
~ Guillotine

Rule 3: Ubers

Ubers are Pokémon with BST's (Base Stat Totals) of over 600 and are too powerful for the standard Pokémon play (look in the "Tier List" topic). The exception to the 600 BST are Wobbuffet. It is put in the Uber Tier due to the fact that it is considered 'broken' by some. What we mean is that it is extremely unfair. Usually banned from Standard play. It is banned from this tournament as well. Why you ask? Here's a scenario:

Trainer 1: Go, Garchomp!
Trainer 2: Go, Wobba!
Trainer 1: Garchomp, use Earthquake!
Trainer 2: Wobba, use Encore!
Trainer 1: Garchomp, use Earthquake! [Stuck in the Encore, Wobba lives.]
Trainer 2: Wobba, Counter! OHKO! Garchomp fainted!

That's usually what happens when Wobba/Wynaut are in. BANNED!

Anyway, as for the Uber rule, teams may not consist of ANY ubers ALL OTHER LEGENDARIES NOT INCLUDED IN THE UBER TIER ARE FAIR GAME.

I was just curious, what happens if neither opponent asks for the battle? will they both be disqualified.

Bad idea about the DQ. You could lose more than half the people included :/

Like I said, their loss. Think, if this was a real tourny, as in real life, the winner can't be decided by a coin toss it's not fair to the others who had their battles and actually won because they battled while someone just breezes through the matches. If they miss their battle time, they miss their battle time. It'll teach them to be more punctual.

You realize its the internet right? No one actually cares >_>. It is also no fair if the two battlers have lives which can't allow them to battle. So at least one member goes on. It also depends on whether or not both, one or neither of them tries to set up a battle. I mean, if one guy's here the whole time, and the other is busy, just let the one go on. If they both try battle, but it doesn't happen flip it. If neither bother, DQ both.
