Changing the starters?

Do you guys think that nintendo will use starters with a different type then Fire, Water, and Grass in this game?

Personally I say no, because of the fact that they haven't changed it yet so they probably won't, and if they do it will ruin my dream of having a full team of the Fire Starters in Gen VI xD.

This would be interesting IF they changed it.
It's been a staple of Pokemon for years,so I don't think they will.
But then again,Nintendo may "start over" as people have been saying.
So,I'm mixed in terms of this.

Zorua is Dark/Fire, ne? That hints at a 50-50...

Really? Tbh though I highly doubt it's going to be a starter I kinda view it as rioul/ Lucario type Pokemon not as a starter, but then again I'm not nintendo so who knows it would be cool to see it as the Fire Starter since it looks BA lol.

I think they should do a Steel/Dragon/Ghost starter set, that would be pretty awesome.

naa Zorua wouldnt work because it only evovles once.If they do change it it will still evolve into a third form and each will cancel each otehr out.thats why PBO's wouldnt work.

I can see it like this.

Psychic (beats) Fighting (beats) Dark (beats) Psychic.

SS64 Has a good option there, but I bet you 10 bucks nintendo is sticking with original types.

Of course they'll stick with the standard; grass, water and fyr are the base types.

By base, I mean, they're the core of all types. Not sure how to put it..

Just to clarify, Zorua isn't Fire/Dark. It & Zoroark are both pure Dark types.

To me, at this point there's a 50/50 shot that they'll change the starters. This theme of "rebirth" implies that it's at least possible. I'd like to see a change in starters, some new blood couldn't hurt. If they do keep the current types at least make 'em have original final types, especially for the Fire type. Seriously, Fire/Fighting two generations in a row?

But since this is what I like to call the Pokemon "Renaissance", anything is possible.

Yeah, another possiblilty is that the starters won't start out as Fire/Water/Grass but when they get in there 3rd evolution they get there type.

I want to see:
- Water/Electric
- Grass/Flying
- Fire/Ghost

Make it interesting this time~

I like the idea of a Fire/Ghost type starter. The other two not so much.

I hope they stick with the 3 normal types, and add in some different ones .
