New Pokemon (5/9 Pokemon Sunday Episode) Starters (5/16 Episode)

Pokemon Sunday has announced a revealing of a new Pokemon on the Ninth (Eighth in the US) and the starters as well on the Sixteenth (Fifteenth in the US)

Wow, so much information rushing in. Discuss about what it could be.

Simply put new Pokemon are being revealed faster then everyone thought they would be.

Doesn't that mean that the new game's release is right around the corner, then?

That's a good point, sounds to me like the game is already made. This could mean it will come out by the end of this year.

I'm really looking forward to hearing about the starters, can't wait to see what types they will be.

Ok, Derek, the game comes out Fall 2010 for Japan. this is a topic about the new Pokemon on Pokemon Sunday on 5/9 and the starters on 5/16.

So then it should hit america early spring next year :D

Probably March/April 2011.

Anyway, I sure hope we don't get another Fire/Fighting Starter.

Ya I'm thinking it might be march next year as well, wishful thinking but it could be this year....maybe lol.

Yeah I'll definitly be mad if they give us another one, hopefully Fire and like Ghost.

Yeah me to, I hope they give a good starter for the OU metagame.

I kinda hope for new starter types, but if they keep the Fire/Grass/Water formula then I'd like to see:

Fire/Ghost or Psychic
Water/Ghost, Flying, or Dark
Grass/Dragon or Flying

i;m hoping for

Psychic-Fighting-Dark as the starters but if they keep the original formula i want to something that isnt pure grass,or includes bug or posion,a water type that isnt ground and a fire type that doesn go into fighting or flying or be pure.

I'm hoping for Fire/Dragon Grass/Ghost and Water/Dark type starters and I want them to be based on a cool animal. I hated the last starters.

Personally if this new Pokemon is like a ghost that has chains hanging off of it, PERFECT GHOST/STEEL POKEMON.

Only weakness? Fire. (If it has Levitate, that is)

I'd love to see a Ghost/Steel Pokemon! I imagine it as like a ghost with armor all over its body. It would probably have Levitate too. Ghost/Water & Ghost/Fighting would be cool too.

I didn't realize until today that the starters won't be revealed until next week, that's a bummer. But we're gettin' a new Pokemon today too, no? It'll probably just be the rodent of this generation.

Pokemon Sunday just revealed silhouettes for 3 new Pokemon. These Pokemon will be the starters for this generation. CoroCoro will probably reveal the starters in full when it leaks in a few days so we won't have to wait long. I hate Pokemon Sunday, I really do. Every time they have a "big announcement" CoroCoro always steals their thunder because they give us silhouettes & hint because they hype monger so much. It's a shame really. Anyway, here's the pic:



So, what do you think they could be? I think the one on the left could be the Grass starter (if these are in fact starters & they're still Grass/Fire/Water.) Lefty's head is either turned to the right of facin' straight forward (that would mean it looks like a duck/bird.) The guy in the middle is odd. Middley looks like a rodent at first glance but I could also see it bein' a bug or somethin' when I look at it in the right way. The one on the right is kinda hard to distinguish though. It doesn't really have any distinct features. Righty kinda puts me in mind of Flaafy. As of now I have no idea about him. I just really hope Middley isn't as gay as his silhouette looks.

I have a strong feeling the one on the left is the grass type.

Yeah, IA, I do think Lefty is the Grass starter. If it goes in order then Middley & Righty should be the Fire & Water starters, respectively. That is if they've kept the Grass/Fire/Water tradition. I really hope Middley isn't as gay lookin' as his silhouette is. Personally I see either a rodent/land animal or a bug/ground animal for him.

Anyway, a dude on Serebii pointed out that Lefty could also be a mermaid or dolphin so that's a possibility. But as of right now, I'm in love with Lefty. It pwns the other two all day long.
